Ouzoud Waterfalls from Marrakech is a very popular getaway for tourist and Moroccans alike during summer. So, the cascades at Ouzoud are pretty and get let crowded especially at weekends. In other words, on our day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud, we make few stops. Moreover, we need to break the drive and enjoy the nature. Then, see picturesque Berber villages and the dramatic agriculture along the way!
Ouzoud water fall is located at 180Km from Marrakech, in the Middle Atlas. The waterfall is a popular site for tourists and Moroccans too especially in summer. In addition, it is a perfect place for a refreshing swimming. Besides, the Ouzoud Water falls are the highest in all of Morocco. Therefore, there will be plenty of cafes to choose for lunch at leisure facing the waterfalls. The whole area near Ouzoud village is full of green forests and it’s also a place where one can meet the lovely monkeys. After that, there is a free time to explore it by your own. On other hand, many tourists worry too much about their free time activities! Eventually, we drive back around 15:00 or 16:00.
If you like quiet place, there is Imi n Ifri. In other words, we start our day trip from Marrakech and head towards Fez and the village of Sidi Rahal. At the end of the town of Demnate, you will stop at Imi n’Ifri. In addition, Imi N Ifri is a natural bridge built by the Tisslit River dug into the limestone, creating particular forms to a height of over 20 meters.
